How to reach us
The Country Wine Estate Colognole is located in Pontassieve, Colognole, via del Palagio 39, in the area of production of Chianti Rufina DOCG, around 34 km from Florence. BY TRAIN
- From Florence: both from Santa Maria Novella train station and from Campo di Marte train station, take the train to Borgo San Lorenzo (via Pontassieve) and get off in Scopeti. Departures are scheduled every hour.
From Scopeti, which is 5 km from the Country Wine Estate, the Agriturismo can organise upon request a private taxi service in both directions. To see the train timetables, visit the website Trenitalia.
BY PLANE
- From Peretola Florence airport: it's possible to rent a car directly at the airport. Otherwise, you can take advantage of the bus connections to Santa Maria Novella.
- " From Bologna airport: it's possible to rent a car directly at the airport. Otherwise, you can take advantage of the bus connections to Bologna train station and from there to Florence train station
BY CAR
- From Florence: From highway A1, exit at Firenze sud and follow to Pontassieve (second exit) or to Viale Europa direction Vallina and proceed to Pontassieve (around 20 km). From Pontassieve, follow the directions to Forlì on SS67 (8.5 km). Once in Rufina, proceed to Dicomano until Scopeti (3 km). Shortly after Scopeti, turn left to Colognole and Montegiovi and uphill for around 3.5 km until you see a big yellow Villa with a tower. From there, proceed some other 900 mt until the direction on the left for the Agriturismo Colognole
- From Bologna: From highway A1, exit at Barberino del Mugello. Follow for San Piero a Sieve and then for Borgo San Lorenzo, pass Vicchio and Dicomano. From Dicomano follow the direction to Rufina and 1 km after Casini turn right to Colognole and Montegiovi and uphill for around 3.5 km until you see a big yellow Villa with a tower. From there, proceed some other 900 mt until the direction on the left for the Agriturismo Colognole
- From Pisa: Take the SGC Firenze - Pisa - Livorno direction Firenze and proceed for around 65 km. Shortly before arriving in Florence, follow the direction for Highway A1 and take it direction Rome. Exit at Firenze sud and follow to Pontassieve (second exit) or to Viale Europa direction Vallina and proceed to Pontassieve (around 20 km). From Pontassieve, follow the directions to Forlì on SS67 (8.5 km). Once in Rufina, proceed to Dicomano until Scopeti (3 km). - From Rome: From highway A1 take the exit Incisa. Turn right to SS69 for Pontassieve (18 km). From Pontassieve, follow the directions to Forlì on SS67 (8.5 km). Once in Rufina, proceed to Dicomano until Scopeti (3 km). Shortly after Scopeti, turn left to Colognole and Montegiovi and uphill for around 3.5 km until you see a big yellow Villa with a tower. From there, proceed some other 900 mt until the direction on the left for the Agriturismo Colognole.
